Charlie is a clever lion living in the zoo. He loves to explore but every time he goes out, people think he is going to eat them. To overcome this he decides to disguise himself. Charlie is then able to move about freely, going to the art gallery and eating at a fancy restaurant. He returns home content and dreams of further adventures.
With colourful illustrations and clear and uncluttered pages, this is perfect for a young audience. The simple and effective story structure is about fitting in and being accepted. Charlie is a loveable lion that readers and viewers will warm to.
